Bridal Wedding Dress Shopping
Q: How far in advance should I start the wedding dress shopping?
We suggest more than 6 months prior to your wedding date, most of the time will actually be taken from yourselves when choosing the perfect gown and taking down all your measurement details. However do ensure you leave 2 out of the 6 months to us to make the dress and allow extra time for any unforeseen alterations or shipping complications.
Q: Can I check fabric swatches before ordering?
We have fabric swatches available for purchase, but with a shipping fee £20. You can order this in every page of our dress catalogue.
Q: Can I have a dress made exactly to my measurements？
Of course you can, Magic Wedding Dress specializes in custom made dresses, so you can be sure to get a dress to fit you perfectly. Once you have decided on the dress you want, simply click the “custom size” tab and proceed to fill in all the specific details, leaving any comments of other requirements that you may have.
Q: Can I make any changes to the dress style or details, and if so how much will it cost?
Yes, we are willing to alter the styling details and colour for free. You just need to leave the specific requirements on the dress page, after which, you will receive a confirmation email from us and if there are any extra charges, we will notify you at this point, or simply contact us if you are ensure about anything. Please note that we do not recommend any styling details, as it may alter the effect of the design and the processing time will take much longer.
Q: How can I know that the correct size that fit the best?
Have someone help measure you, as it is really difficult to get an accurate measurement by yourself. Ensure that you fill in the while measurement chart in carefully, measure twice for confirmation and choose the larger size in case it's a little too tight.
Ordering & Shipping
Q: When can I receive the dress?
Generally speaking, 30 - 35 working days are required, the processing time is usually between 25 - 30 workdays and shipping time is between 3 - 5 working days. For more information, please see our Shipping & Payment section.
Q: What about Magic.W.D payment methods?
We only accept PayPal at the moment since the payment is safe, immediate, convenient and a traceable way to pay. If you have any problems opening an account, then please contact one of our service members.
Q: Are products available on rush order?
Yes, our normal processing time is 25~30 workdays, but we can make any rush order within 15~20 workdays, however we will apply an additional charge of £30.
Q: How can I check the progress of my order?
Once you place your order with the correct shipping address, we will send a notification email, alongside a tracking number, to help you check the status at any time.
Q: Can I place an order if I am outside of the UK?
Yes, you can. We accept all international shoppers, but in this situation, you will need to select the button for "International Order" and contact us for more details. Please keep in mind that the items in the shipment must not be prohibited by embargo or national or international restrictions.
Q: Is there a charge for sales tax?
No. There is no charge of sales tax on all orders.
Exchange & Return
Q: If I have ordered the wrong size, what can I do?
We suggest that all brides should carefully confirm all their size measurements when placing the order, however in the event that the dress does not fit, we will help make any alteration for you, simply read up on our exchange policy, contact us straight away and then proceed to returning the dress to us. Please remember to contact one of our service team before returning; otherwise we do hold the rights to decline any package. Exchange requests that do not follow our procedures in a timely manner, will not qualify for exchange. Please carefully read our all our exchange and return policies.
Q: Can I return the dress if I don't like it?
We always strive to offer you the best products so we firmly believe that customers will be happy with their purchases, and therefore have no need to return. However, in the unlikely event that there is a problem at the fault of 'Magic Wedding Dress'; then we will happily exchange the garment, at no extra cost to the customer.
